Mosquito Nets in Uganda to be Installed

This June, the rate of children who get sick at our orphan villages are going to be reduced significantly. Most illness is due to mosquitoes and poor hygiene. Our medical team will be providing and installing all of the remaining mosquito nets. That is roughly 1000 children that we care for that will all be protected from mosquito bites when they sleep. I am sure our on-site clinic will not have as much work as it has had in the last few months. Thanks to our 2009 medical team. If you would like to join our 2010 medical mission from the USA, please contact us at info@christianlifeministries.org

Dental Support for Orphans

During our medical mission dental support will be offered to the children. A Ugandan medical team has been hired to come along side the American medical mission team to care for the dental needs of our children at the orphanage. I believe a great impact will be left behind as the Love of Christ is shared in a practical way.

Eye Glasses Provided in Uganda village of Seeta

This year, all of our kids at the orphanage in Seta who need eye glasses will be catered for. Part of the mission for the USA team visiting will be to check children’s’ eyes and also provide care for those children that are found in need.

Church plant plan

The structure for the church plant for the short-term medical mission team is about to be finished. Right now it’s being roofed and is in its final stage. By the time the medical team arrives and starts their medical outreach, the church structure will be ready to host the 1st church service on the weekend. Please continue to pray for both the Uganda team and the US medical mission team.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

A New Church Plant in the works

Doctors are going to give medical treatment/services to our community and win people to the Lord in the process. This will start on Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday. All of those who have given their lives to the Lord will be asked to come and be the founding members of the newly started church. That is pretty amazing.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Our team which is going to Uganda for a short term mission trip arrives on June 1st and others arrive shortly after that. Things are looking very good as far as planned activities are concerned.

Less than a week for Uganda

Our first short term mission team is departing in less than a week. On June first a team from Colorado Springs plus a few individuals from different states will be flying to Uganda to help spread God’s word through medical mission, orphanage alterations, and more. Please pray for traveling mercies and effective ministry time.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Return to The Oaks Tomorrow

Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be speaking at the Oaks again about the Holy Spirit. We will give people the opportunity to receive prayer for the Holy Spirit experience in prayer for us as we seek to serve his people.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Teaming up with Pastor Scott

I teamed up with Pastor Scott this past Sunday, he went ahead of me and taught about being confirmed by the spirit. He talked about 3 baptisms, water, spirit, and baptism into the body of Christ. Thereafter, I came and spoke about the importance and need of being fueled with the Holy Spirit. He made it easy for me to transition into speaking about this, we made a great team.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Sunday at The Oaks

This last Sunday I spoke at the Oaks Fellowship. Praise be to God for all of the souls that came to the Lord. God really came in and transformed his people through fervent worship and prayer.

Many children to be spoken for

Please pray for the needs of our children. Most of the new children we just placed in our homes have no sponsors yet. So there is no school tuition. Our ministry struggles to provide for these children until such a time when each one is fully sponsored. In this economic down turn, we need you to continue to live us up in prayer; may God keep providing and meeting every need for every child.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Schools starting again in Uganda

Our children in Uganda are going to School next week on Monday, May 25th. For them it is not memorial day and business will operate as usual. We are excited for yet another term of our children’s education. You can image how our mothers in the orphan village are working so hard to get every child ready-not for just a couple of kids but for 12 children each.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Why we need the Holy Spirit

The Bible calls the Holy Spirit a friend, a comforter, a reminder, the enabler, and empowerer; among many names. I don’t know about you but I can all of those things during these stress full times. To carry out your purpose in life and live out your full potential, you need the spirits power to strengthen you and enable you to overcome obstacles in your way. Oh how we need the Holy Spirit everyday and every step of the way!

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

I will be going to the Oaks next Wednesday too

Next Wednesday, I will be speaking again at the Oaks. This time I will share briefly and invite God’s people to receive prayer as they invite the Holy Spirit into their lives. I know it will be a wonderful time in the Lord.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Glad to visit the Oaks

I am excited about this coming Sunday. I will be speaking at The Oaks again. I will be speaking about the Holy Spirit and the importance and purpose for it in our lives.

How to react when surrounded by desert continued..

It was during such a time in the desert when Jesus said to his disciples, “give me those few left over fish and loaves of bread.” He commanded the people to sit down, “wait upon me, because you are about to experience a miracle of divine mass production.” Then he delivered for everyone, right in the middle of the wilderness.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

How to react when surrounded by desert continued..

Many people are faced with a reality and have the same type of thoughts, “there is not enough money in my account to make monthly payment, secure my children’s education, run my business.” In the wilderness there is no shade, no water, no resting area, no neighborhoods to visit and some times no friends available to talk to. Either you are alone or everybody is discouraged or too tired to offer comfort to anyone else. No one knows what to do.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

How to react when surrounded by desert

The language of the desert is “scarcity.” When there was no food for Jesus’ disciples, they said to him “we are in the desert, there is no food, and people are starving, send them away.” “There is no,” once again, the language of the desert. In these trying seasons of financial down turn, the language of Business, Ministries, and Millions of homes.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Why one voice?

John the Baptist is referred to as the voice of “one” crying out in the desert saying, “prepare the way of the Lord.” In such a dry and weary land we need such a voice crying out to the Lord as well as telling God’s people to prepare themselves for God’s visitation. My concern is why is it one voice or a few voices. Let the cry be one voice but raised but, but that one voice be shared by many of us.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Uganda Needs Our Prayers

We are praying for harvesting hands next year in our short mission. Please pray about joining us in Uganda as we continue to serve the nation’s ongoing transformation. Truly the harvest is plentiful but labors only a few.

Who are the Ukids

The Ukids are a non profit group of volunteers who are devoted to helping the Orphans of Uganda, East Africa. Their motto is “Loving to Serve, Serving to Love.” They come from Abundent Life church located in Portland Oregon.

The Ukids

Monday night I joined my friends the Ukids from Abundant Life Church. We discussed their trip to Uganda and they are excited. Over forty-five of them will be coming in July.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

God works in mysterious ways, people move in funny ways

I was sitting on a plane that was traveling from Portland to Dallas yesterday. I was reading my Bible and I was overwhelmed with thoughts. Two things are consistent, one is God’s love and victory through his people, the other is the inconsistency of peoples’ hearts to follow the Lord.

Reading through the book of judges it is apparent that every time people disobey calamity he allows calamity, every time they repent he delivers.

Return to The Oaks

Uganda in a few weeks!

Dr. O’connel’s group is returning to Uganda and bringing two large groups, a medical team and a group of young adults that go by “The School of Worship.” Both groups will be there roughly from the 1st of June through the 14th of June.

The medical team is going to check out all of the children and make sure that they are all cared for. This is very exciting. They are also going to have a dentist from Kampala come out and check the children’s’ teeth and help the children with the most dire needs.

Anytime we bring in new children they come with a number of problems, skin problems, digestion problems, and other issues that no child should have to be burdened with. It is our goal to help be as healthy as any child should.

Good news for Seeta

We are counting down the number of weeks before a new trip in the Seeta orphanage will see a reduction as to how many kids will get sick and how often. Part of our missionary friends come to Uganda on a short term mission trip will be installing mosquito nets for our children. This reduced the number of children who get sick and its good news for our clinic.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Changing Weather

It is raining very heavily this season in Uganda. Our weather has been changing lately and catching us off guard most of the time. We in America now have both extreme weathers, a lot of rain and a lot of heat before you comprehend what happens, it changes on you. We are learning now how to go with the flow.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Vacation to Uganda

Part of our medical team is in the mission trip to Uganda this June. They will take a couple of days off to go for a short safari in Uganda and others will go to the falls. We know they will have a great time.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

A Prayer Team

One of the teams coming to Uganda for a short term mission trip is a prayer team. We are looking forward to this because Uganda loves to pray. They will visit different sites and join groups to pray for specific issues. For example they will visit some of the historic sites both spiritual and non spiritual to pray for God’s will, direction, revival and victory.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Practice Makes Perfect

My 14 year old Joshua signed up to join the school soccer team recently. The team is newly formed and made up of children that have never played soccer before. They had a week of training together, (some of them had never kicked a soccer ball.) Their first game was yesterday.

They played a rather good team who obviously had more experience in playing soccer and playing together. The opposing team scored 4 goals and beat Joshua’s team, which scored nothing. I was in the stands watching all of this embarrassing defeat. I encouraged Joshua to keep his head up and that as the team continues to practice together they will eventually learn to play well as a team.

It is never too late

In order to win souls we must invest in our communities. We need to invest prayer, service, love, etc. So that our communities and cities become harvestable. When they do, evangelism will be easier and the harvest will be plentiful. The fruits will be so very ripe almost ready to fall of the branches by themselves when this happens. Sinners will seek the lord.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Reach out for Uganda

Uganda is unreached but not unreachable. We are praying for a strong wave of evangelism and church planting to sweep through this country. We believe that as many as one-hundred churches from different backgrounds share the gospel and plant churches. God will do amazing things and thousands will come to know him.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

How to get the masses to follow God

The best way to reach masses that do not know him is to use masses that already know him-The Lord. I believe cities across America and the world can witness a great move of God if every believer stepped out and shared their faith constantly. You can start that day today.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Our mission trip will visit our stations

Some of our short term mission friends will be on our radio station and television station in Kampala. Top radio and Top TV will host some interviews for some of our guests. They will tell short stories of their lives and accomplishments but also share about their treasured partnership with ministries. A good number of them did not know much about Africa.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Mission trips are closer and closer

Our short term mission trips are getting closer and I know that your praying for all of them. They will serve the vision of Christian Life church in Kampala Uganda and Africa which also includes our orphan children at our orphan village in Seeta.

My Mothers Day Schedule

Last night on mothers day we spent time together in the ministry almost all day and we flew together back to Dallas. We arrived after 8 pm. As you can tell I didn’t have an opportunity to have special time with the beautiful mother of my great children. So this week we are going to have something special for her.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

We must reach out to lost souls

I spoke twice on Sunday morning at the 9am and 10:45am services. I challenged God’s people to reach the lost all the at all costs because souls are lost forever. We had a good number of visitors give their lives to Christ in the Second Service when the invitation was given.

Transforming Tucson

I spoke Saturday evening to a group of hungry people. They were representing several churches in the area from all sorts of different background and different denominations. They want to see God transform their 800,000 population in Tucson, Arizona. I spoke on being Transformational Trees and we had a powerful time of prayer at the end.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Delayed Flight

This last Saturday Even and I flew to Tucson Arizona from Dallas. Our trip was so very eventful. We boarded what was supposed to be an on time departure flight from DFW. After the last person took his seat and the doors were almost closed the flight attendant said that there was a maintenance crew that checked our plane and that it would be unsafe to leave in it at that time. We were asked to carry our hand luggage off of the plane and to head back to the gate. The promised us another plane. Thank god it happened, within an hour or so we got another aircraft and we only need to change gates and terminals. We still made it on time before I had to speak Saturday evening.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Jackson Senyonga: I remember when we hosted C. Peter Wagner’s International Coalition of Apostles in Uganda, East Africa.

I remember when I ministered alongside many strong ministries and ministers. I felt like my name, Pastor Jackson Senyonga humbly fit in perfect with The International Coalition of Apostles. What an honor and privilege to share ministry with seasoned leaders by God’s grace. Here in the United States I have spoken in conferences and seminars with men who follow in God’s footsteps. Men like Jack Hayford of the Church on the Way and the Kings Seminary, Pat Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network or CBN in Van Nuys California, A.R. Bernard of the Christian Culture Centre in Brooklyn, NY, the late Bill Bright of the Campus Crusade for Christ, John Kilpatrick known for the Brownsville Revival in Brownsville, Fl, and Rick Joyner of Morning Star Ministries from South Carolina.

When Dr. C. Peter Wagner was in Uganda, we hosted him on our own top radio and top television stations, which was located at Christian Life Church (CLC) in Kampala Uganda. We gathered most of the prominent key senior pastors from 8 countries including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, and Congo Brazzaville. The time was refreshing and impartation was given to these great leaders.

New Website

I have some exciting news today. This week we released a new website, www.jackson-senyonga.org

The goal of this website is to give our sponsors an idea of what kind of Transformation the Orphans of Uganda go through when they come into one of our villiages in Seeta or Lira.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Dallas this weekend.

I had mentioned before that American weather keeps on bouncing all over the place. Today in Dallas we have high 80s and tomorrow it will drop significantly, I never know when to use a jacket or wear my short sleeve shirts. It is a different experience because in Uganda we only have two different weathers, hot and hotter. At the same time it is always dry heat, not the humid heat we have in Dallas. I kind of miss that weather from Uganda.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

I appreciate my wife Eve along with all Mothers

Mothers day is supposed to be a special time. I knew how to appreciate my wife Eve and much much more. When I had all three of the children to myself for several weeks when Eve was away in Uganda. I was the Father and the Mother it was exciting, thrilling, but also I could tell that no one could ever replace my wife and mother of my children, Eve. I was more than happy when she returned. Now I have a greater sense of appreciation for mothers on Mothers Day.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Mothers Day with Eve

On Sunday which is Mothers day I am going to spend it with my beautiful wife the mother of my Three Children. In the morning I will be doing Ministry and in the late afternoon I will be flying back to Dallas. I am so happy that we are going to flying together next week we will have something special to do for her as a family.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Arizona for the Weekend

Flying out tomorrow to go to Tucson Arizona, Eve and I are going together please pray for a safe trip as we address the area wide meeting on Saturday night. On Monday morning we are also speaking. We will be praying for a lot of people to come to the lord and to strengthen relationships with God.

Not if, but WILL

Healing requires your cooperation with God, in Luke 5:12 Jesus corrected someone’s theology so he could heal them. The leper said, if you are willing “if” you are willing, you can make me clean. And Jesus replied, Of course I’m willing. He corrected the “if”. Most of us believe that God comes but don’t believe that God will. Go from “can” to “will”.

Luke 5:12-16
[12] While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean."

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Healing - it was standard expectations.

Healing of sickness was standard expectation on the people when they came to hear Jesus speak. In Luke 6: 17, the Bible came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. They were guaranteed to hear a message from Jesus and at the same there was an assurance that they would also be healed. Expectations sets up the atmosphere for the miraculous. As the world goes through this time, we believe God will heal Nations and his people.

Luke 6:17 (New International Version)
Blessings and Woes
17He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon,

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

In times of Sickness, I turn to the Bible

I want to share a scripture about healing in times of sickness. It always comforts my heart when I read scripture where Jesus was very passionate about healing people. In most situations he did not closed a sermon without healing someone.

Luke 6:17-19 (King James Version)

17And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

18And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

19And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

Pastor Jackson Senyonga

Change of plans

Looks like I will be in Dallas this weekend instead of Phoenix. I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and in prayer for the nation and beyond. This arrival of the swine flu has many in a state of turmoil. Please join me in prayer to counteract that.
