Pray With Me

David prayed a prayer of thanks giving to God that I have found myself praying lately.

I Chronicles 17:16...who am I O Lord God? And what is my house that you have brought me this far? And yet this is a small thing in your sight oh God...

Surely we are thankful for his grace upon our lives and what He himself has accomplished. Great things are still happening in Uganda and places where I go to speak around the world.

God has taken us way further than anything we would have dreamed of. To Him be all the glory.

Personally...to come this "far" has also meant that our bodies have been working hard to follow Him in practical ways.

At this time I am taking some time off and resting in Him. I would appreciate prayers from you all if you could pray for me & my family for renewed strength.

My oldest daughter is transitioning into her adult life which has both its joys and challenges. She starts college this week, and my two younger children have just joined a new high school. My time off will come so handy to support their new journey and also give me a chance to spend time with my beautiful wife, Eve.

Sometimes the greatest weapon we could ever use is resting. Jesus called his disciples away from the routine of ministry just to a time of resting.

Should God be calling you just like He is calling me to rest, please respond positively. I am learning to trust that God will take care of the ministry and the rest of the responsibilities even when I am off.

Pray for Uganda!

I am writing to you today to ask you to please pray for our nation. We need to pray for peace over the people in Uganda so that transformation can continue to take place. We have had peace for many years now and we do not want this peace interrupted. I ask you to keep Uganda in your hearts and prayers over the next few days especially.

Africa Prays for America

I am happy to report to you about the event, Africa Prays for America, that was held in Washington D.C. on Saturday. It is very evident to me that God was there in a powerful way and that our time praying for America was successful. God is moving in a mighty way here and we are excited about it.

Pray for our Country!

We are continuously praying from the destiny of our country. With so many unresolved issues and our futures forged, we are asking God to guide the hearts of our leaders so that at the end of the day, righteousness will exalt our nation as scripture says.

Pray so we can pray

I need to update everyone on the prayer meeting I asked you to pray for last week. The first overnight prayer went very well, everyone stayed strong through the night. Our church was lucky enough to be part of the whole thing. We were one of the churches in a collection of churches who participated. We brought the countries needs before the Lord and it was glorious. I ask for more prayer of unity in the body of Christ and our nation. Thank you for your prayer support.

From 33% AIDS infected to 5% infected in less than two decades.

At one point in the past the World Health Organization projected that Uganda would collapse by early 2000. The Uganda collapse was to be due to the fact that one-third of the population was going to pass away from AIDS infection. Another third would be too sick to work. The final third would not be able to sustain the economy. Today that prediction has been proven wrong, AIDS is no longer the number one killer. God is a great God!

Our orphaned children are so Amazing!

Our orphaned children are so amazing. The end of the school term is approaching in the schools of Africa. In just a few short weeks our children are going to be taking their end of the term exams and they are all expecting to do very well. It has been an amazing testimony to watch the transformation of these children who came in with zero education and were also illiterate. Now these same children are taking the forefront positions in the private schools that they attend. The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom” and we see this being very true to our children. We can easily see some of our children as leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. Let us pray for a generation of leaders to arise even in the midst of their misfortunate situations and thank you all for being part of this agenda.

Uganda has a bright future.

Uganda could use prayer for the upcoming year. In the year of 2011 Uganda will have another opportunity to elect a president to lead the beautiful country. We believe through prayer and faith people will only elect whom God has appointed. We have seen a lot happening in this country over the years and our only prayer is that God will keep directing hearts and lives to his prophecies even during such times. Please you join us in prayer that God will go ahead of us and lead this country for ongoing transformation and change.

Spreading God’s message as a family.

One of my resolutions for this year was for me to have a traveling partner as I travel the United States. This person would stand by my side and help me spread God’s transformation to churches, cities, and communities around the nation. I decided there was no better partner to take with me than my beautiful wife Eve. What an opportunity we have been given, doing God’s work alongside pastors and leaders as a family. Since we started God has added more excitement to the mission through this. I feel I am getting more and more prayers live on site while I speak and this is so wonderful. We are also looking into traveling together and spending our time in different churches within the same cities so we can spend our time most efficiently on these special weekends.

Who will you believe?

Traveling today across this great nation with my wife, Eve to address a Men's Retreat; a group on fire for the Lord and off to the west coast for weekend ministry to share a few revelations that God has given me with Southcoast Fellowship.

I am excited at what I see God doing this year. If you watch the news, the world would have you live in fear but God says - Perfect love casts out all fear, and His is the most perfect love that I have ever known.

It doesn't matter what the world says; economists might say that the financial outlook is dim; others might say that we will be destroyed by atmospheric conditions; I say different. But the bottom line is it doesn't matter what I or anyone else says; GOD is the one who ultimately has the last say. Rather than live in fear of the unknown I choose to live believing in the one who knows everything!

I pray that you will know God's perfect love today and everyday.

Amazing Grace

It is hard to imagine what life would be like without God's amazing grace. For me, I can't even begin to go down that road.

Many years ago when I was told of God and what he can do, I remember thinking why would this God do anything for me. Now, years later, I can tell you that He has done excellent and amazing things in my life and continues to show himself evident at every turn.

My prayer for you today is that God's grace, his amazing and endless grace, will overtake you and yours.
