New Toll Road to Reduce Traffic in Kampala

I don’t usually get excited about roads, but Kampala is so trafficky. The city was designed for less than 100,000 people, but now it is populated by well over that. So, needless to say, there are too many cars in streets that aren’t meant to hold that many cars. There is plans for a toll road to connect the airport and Kampala which will help tremendously because that road gets very congested.

Church Planting Mission Trip

One of the things we wish to emphasize during next summer’s mission trips is church planting around Kampala. Of course, people will have the ability to serve other ministries like the orphan ministry, etc. We are asking churches to come to Uganda to plant a church. A church or even an individual can sponsor a church planting, which will include buying a small piece of land, building the church structure, plus outreach that will enable the church to be launched. If this is a timely decision, we can do all of the preparation to have the church launched during your mission trip. This could be a life giving moments for you and the rest of your church group or mission trip team.

Please call or email us if your group or church would like to plant a church in Uganda.  info@christianlifeministries.org or 972-307-LIFE

For those that are praying or planning to come to Uganda, I want to send you some pictures of our city, Kampala. Its surrounded by 7 hills – just like Jerusalem. Though its still a third world country, great things are happening in this city. I am looking forward to personally welcoming you to Kampala – a city of great potential and possibilities.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Kampala Expanding

Uganda is growing as a Nation; our capital city, Kampala is expanding. There is even a dialogue of extending its boundaries. God is bringingthrousands of people from other parts of the country into the city. This is great because they will be reached for Christ when they come. The bigger the city, the greater the opportunities to reach the people!

Great News Reached Uganda

Today, our ministries have made the news in Uganda. Through our work with Dr. Michael Haglund and Duke University, lives are being transformed in Uganda through neurosurgery. Please read this article, as I am very proud that we as God's people have been able to help in such a great way.
