Ugandan Education is Recognized for Excellence

Uganda was recently awarded this years Commonwealth Education Good Practice award! The country was recognized as one that is working to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS among school children. The program Ugandan schools are implementing is the Presidential Initiative on AIDS Strategy to Youth (PIACY). This program alone targets about 7.5 million school children! This is great news for the country and its growing education system! It is such a blessing that programs such as these are in place to help save the lives and educate our children!
